Putzmeister right at home on every construction site

It all began with a groundbreaking innovation: In 1957, while conventional construction machinery manufacturers simply waved the idea aside, Karl Schlecht invented a mechanical plaster machine as part of his university thesis. One year later, he founded the company KS-Maschinenbau from his garage in Bernhausen near Stuttgart. Since 1963 the company has been known as "Putzmeister".

Quality - Why you need it
Today, Putzmeister is not only known for its expertise in mortar machines. Nowadays, our company develops and manufactures one of the most comprehensive ranges of powerful plaster machines, floor screed conveyors and fine concrete pumps - including carefully designed accessories.

Always there for you
And it's not just our product range that has been continually expanding. Today, the Putzmeister company consists of nine branches in Germany and over twenty subsidiaries in the rest of the world. Our sales and service network is continually expanding around the globe, and also incorporates a large number of independent service centres and agents, reflecting our aim to constantly increase customer satisfaction levels.

Your work is at the centre of what we do
Our success can be attributed to our ideas for innovative technical solutions. After all, necessity is the mother of invention, and our ideas originate directly from the construction site - precisely where the need arises to make work easier and more effective.
It all began with the first mechanical Karl-Schlecht mortar pump, the KS 1. Today, our machines have become an integral part of construction sites all over the world.

Continuing innovation
Our company history is by no means complete. We aim to continue producing innovative products and to be pioneers when it comes to matters of technology, safety, quality, and design. In the future, wherever there is construction, there will be Putzmeister.
